I've found that the problem with detectors is they are inevitably made redundant by another development in detector-detector technology. Or an update to the government "lidar" means they suddenly are only able to detect a certain type of device, ie. speed camera but not mobile units. Then, theres the fact it's a serious offence to use one (in QLD at least), and they will confiscate it if they get a chance. And they can detect that you have one. One of my reps had his RX8 half pulled apart by 2 guys looking for a very well hidden unit after their sensors picked up that he had one turned on. |
