Muzzy exhaust ? - jzbusa - 14-09-2007

Just wondering if Muzzy full systems were any good. Had a quick look in this exhaust section but couldnt find anything on em, im sure its been covered tho. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

if you have your heart set on one they give great mid range torque.dad is a dealer for them or he can sell you a ti force which i have. Both are good just don,t get a muzzy carbon can as they can burn out.

Hi Jzbusa,

Ive got a full SS Muzzy system on my 03 Busa. I highly recommend it mate. It produces a tuff note. I also gained 10 hp and 7nm of torque with a PC3.

Forget Hindle systems, I had one on before the Muzzy, it sounded tinnie and did not give me as much hp or tq gains.

Best thing about it thou is the note, sounds tuff
Goodluck

Ps The hindle system i bagged was from Hindle. Not to be confused with Brock-Hindle, which are meant to be the ducks guts of systems, but are also expensive.

Thanx for the advice guys. Nice ride top gun. Love the pipe & the wheels. Could you run the exhaust with a stock tune without doing damage ? Just not sure the budget will stretch at the moment. Anyone using that Rapid tuner box thingy ? any good ??

RE: Muzzy exhaust ? - kawasuki - 18-09-2007

The Rapid needs a dyno to tune it, I think.

had a pair of muzzy bolt ons for my last busa and top quality and great note. id imagine the full system would have the same quality got mine of Kawasuki

jzbusa , your better off saving your cash , get all the parts first, then doing everything at once properly. The bike will run lean with out the computer done. Power Commander 3 is the only system that i have used. They do the job very well. I personally think its worth saving your $$$ for one...

forget the hindle hey!!! it seems that the Gen III Hindle bikes in QLD are all in the 175HP range and they sound Tough to me

been doing a bit of reseach and looks like to put a Muzzy system on the 08 busa, you need to trim a little bit of fairing in 2 places.
