LED indicators - bear - 22-08-2007 Here's a techo Q for those who have trodden this path before.. I've got an LED taillight combination, ie it includes the indicators as well. It's already suitable for use without changing the relay, which I assume is done through in built resistors?? Now, if I add on to the indicator circuit some extra LED lights, which don't come suitable for the standard relay, will I have to replace the relay with the mixture of standard front, and two different sorts of LED indicators? When they all turn up I can try it, but then the question is, if I need a new relay is there a plug in for the OEM Hayabusa item? RE: LED indicators - ROD - 23-08-2007 adding extra led's should not make any diference but if it does just go to repco etc and get a new relay its a blue narva one that does not mater what the load is then just unplug the two wires out of you factory flasher relay and plug in to your new one cant think of colour of wires but let me no your bike year and i will look up the two wires for you RE: LED indicators - bear - 23-08-2007 Cheers, it's a 99 copper silver. Where is the can, next to the fuses? I have amanual, so I can always look it up, just being lazy! RE: LED indicators - ROD - 23-08-2007 bear Wrote:Cheers, it's a 99 copper silver. The lights are on order. I already have one LED system on it, so will wait tillI add the lot then fart around with it. RE: LED indicators - TYCHO - 26-08-2009 Hi Yáll. Been looking at these posts re fast flash rate. Have been to Repco and there seems to be lots of different blue Narva ones. Anyone know what the part number is? Once I fix the flash rate, I can get it registered again. Cant wait. Its been freekn ages since Ive ridden it. RE: LED indicators - TYCHO - 29-08-2009 Thanks Rod. My indicators now workl pefect and I can pass my roadworthy. Such an easy fix - and I thought it was going to be tricky and have to get the bike shop to fix it and charge me through the ars. Awesome - Thanks Again |
