MC Xpress Kit Installed - TheShredder - 07-07-2007

Hey Guy after my run in with the truck a few weeks ago & Bill letting me take his boosted bike for a spin I thought what better way to do some physio than to fit my new strret kit which had been sitting in the cupboard just looking for an excuse to get out lol.
Oh i had to pull it down anyway to repair the damage so it was a good time to do it. I took a break from the drag bike & got into it.
It's a front mounted intercooled kit which should be good for the 300hp ish range in stock trim & if the motor had some work it could be pushed to the 4's.
I'll let ya know how the dyno goes when it comes to hand.
It's not sorted yet but rideable so now i must get back onto the drag bike ASAP.

The start of the tear down/ rebuild.

Really neat install. It needs a decent can though i reckon. The tiforce can is 60mm in and out.It may be big enough for you.Certainly looks better.Just a thought.

RE: MC Xpress Kit Installed - Macbusa - 08-07-2007

you on drugs ... whats wrong with carbon can ..

RE: MC Xpress Kit Installed - abusa - 08-07-2007

Nice work mate, real sleeper!

Glen the Can is a 75mm jobbie I believe, so probably wouldnt suit.

RE: MC Xpress Kit Installed - Volvi - 08-07-2007

nice one, really makes me think if Id get another busa like the next generation, then might be an idea to make the '99er into a blaster. tempting.

ps. id like to see a larger close up of the dash.
