Pc map - Gaz57 - 03-07-2007

Ping Simmo,
Mate any chance of getting a copy of your PC map that you are running? My setup is very close to yours, have you had it done or worked on it yourself?
Thanks
Gaz

Gaz, $300 of A/F sniffing dyno time and she'll be as sweet as a cherry. Copied maps aren't such a great idea because different motors run slightly different in: fuel pressure, valve clerace, carb sync.

RE: Pc map - spamanglenn - 03-07-2007

chris what are you doing buddy.Simmo just lost the chance to sell his 9.7 second map.Lol2If only it was that easy. What chris said, get a custom map for your bike on the fuel you are going to use.Even stock 91 to 98 have different viscosities which will give a different air/fuel with the same map.Eliminate the variables and you,ll get a consistent result.

Doh, I forgot that Rob was flogging speed maps. His map wouldn't work on a red bike anyway!

RE: Pc map - simmo - 03-07-2007

Gazza, I had the biked tuned with four verlosity stacks first with the std ecu then I pulled out the two middle stacks and put in the two std short ones in the middle then played around with fueling up the top end, pm your fax no or E-mail address to me and give me a couple of days to down load it and I'll send in to you if you still want it Pi_thumbsup

RE: Pc map - Gaz57 - 04-07-2007

Thanks mate,
Just wanted a look at yours, I have no worries up top just a bit of a dead spot just off idle, the MP table has always been a problem.
Thanks pm sent.

Gnarbunkle99,
would love to spend money on dyno time but it's a bit hard here in the country, we are lucky to have one bike shop in townScary
I'll have to get myself organised and go to Sydney and have the bike dynoed and do a Wednesday night with you guys at the track Pi_thumbsup

RE: Pc map - Gaz57 - 04-07-2007

Hi Shredder,
Mate I have had another TPS in for awhile and it does seem better. I think there was also a problem with the throttle cable adjustment. I am waiting on another CPU to try as the one I have doesn’t look good. At the moment the old girl is going great except for a small hickup down low.
How’s things with you? Hope your finger and bike are on the mend. Will have to work out a ride so we can have a beer or two.
Had a quick trip up to see cowboy over the long weekend. I could handle your winter weather up there better than here.... must be getting old. Say g'day to m8ee for us, catch up soon.
Go the blues.Pi_tongue
