on the mend - TheShredder - 10-06-2007 Not nice, very hard to get use to looking at it. Very sore still, & very swollen ,from being broken, stiches come out next week. Bike wasnt to bad, I road it home this week & have pulled it down to check it out. I only have 3 parts to replace & it's good to go again. shane ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: on the mend - spamanglenn - 10-06-2007 ouch. ![]() RE: on the mend - ROD - 10-06-2007 i thought my finger looked bad when i did mine ![]() ![]() RE: on the mend - DjPete - 10-06-2007 just told my wife to forget about mini frankfurts for dinner tonight, not hungry. Seriously, bad luck with that Shredder although it could have been worse. Take it easy. RE: on the mend - BLACKZOOK - 10-06-2007 I can relate to what your going thru mate. Once the swelling goes down you will quickly adjust to it not being there. The surgery scars will fade quite quickly and the end of the stump will smooth out. It only took me 20 years to get used to mine ![]() Seriously its amazing who quickly your brain adjusts, give a few months you wont even notice it missing --- well apart from when you pick your nose. ![]() Take care and dont let it get you down. RE: on the mend - kawasuki - 10-06-2007 Ahhh Ahh Lucky Bruce wasnt in Kuwait ... La chop the lot. And Shreader looks fuckin awful mate Looks like a small Jaws got it. RE: on the mend - simmo - 10-06-2007 Arr shit Shane that would have to hurt, speedy recovery man where and how did you come off. RE: on the mend - BUSGO - 10-06-2007 JEEZ that looks nasty. You must be one of the unluckiest bastards out there Shane. ( I don't know how Bruce picks his nose, but it would be something to see, I manage without using my pinkie ) RE: on the mend - Monyx - 10-06-2007 Shit - looks like the outcome of an inexperience pirahna feeder! Hope you mend well, at least the temperate climate wont ache the bones. Ea winter I'm reminded of my busted wrist and leg from motocycle T-bone back in '98. RE: on the mend - spanner spinner - 11-06-2007 good to see you on the mend .. RE: on the mend - Madmax - 11-06-2007 Hey Shredder, you'l have to watch it next time you're playing cards mate. More seriously, glad you're okay, albeit a little light on. Cheers. Max:ausflag: ![]() RE: on the mend - rob - 12-06-2007 good to see your coming along well mate.
