I got my bike serviced today. I am convinced there is a service reset button. They press it at the service time and then the bike runs great.. then over the next 6,000kms the electronics change the mappings etc... and your bike degrades in response, fuel usage each kilometer until the next service, then, they press the button and its like new again.. you cant tell me that an oil change by a aprentice can make that much difference.

(spose the spark plug change might have something to do with it)

Yeah, i tell everyone else its in their heads too.

Cant say about the washing thing.. I dont wash my bike.. If it gets itself dirty then it can put up with it.
