Pete I started it over Easter and finished it yesterday but in reality if i had everything ready to go and all here it would have been a weekend job at the most .I did everything by myself but there was a a few phone calls to Maj and shredder and also some emails to Maj and Greg from the states and all up it should cost me around $3500 dynoed

sorry for the noob question, but boosted means nitro'd as against turbo? how many different systems are there out there?

Volvi,
Bill has fitted Greg's (MAJ) second hand turbo and a Smith's boost controller. Boosted means turbo.

Very nice work mate - remember what I told you on the phone yesterday - upgrade your brakes you spend more time on the brakes than on the throttle when you run a turbo.

Mine flies past a stocker like it was a 250 chook chaser.

RE: Now Boosted - m8ee - 24-04-2007

At least I could keep ahead of you when u were on the chook chaser

Boosted refers to forced induction (supercharger/turbocharger)... Whereby you "add boost" (pressure) to create more power :)

When you get Nitrous Oxide... You think Paul Walker (Fast and the Furious) and go... "I Got NOS!"... Roll

Very nice ! If I can ever get the wife to get a job, I'll have to work on some Boost myself .
