New PB on fuel consumption - Heidi1 - 03-04-2007

9.4kms/litre around town.

I'm thinking about getting a VTR for its fuel economy.

RE: New PB on fuel consumption - Dan85 - 03-04-2007

Please? Heidi?

I don't care how much fuel it uses, there is no reason to want to willingly buy a Honda. And besides, who was the girl at Jindabyne raving about how good these bikes, and the people who ride them are.

RE: New PB on fuel consumption - Volvi - 03-04-2007

havent we been here before? and you were gonna call Col?

RE: New PB on fuel consumption - RaZz0R - 03-04-2007

yeah - ya need a remap ;)

RE: New PB on fuel consumption - Rev - 03-04-2007

Doesn't sound too good......re check it at a constant 100kph up the highway.

If it's mapped right you should be getting 19-21 kilometers per litre.

A remap will pay for itself in no time based on those numbers Eek considering the price of fuel now.

RE: New PB on fuel consumption - Dan85 - 04-04-2007

Nice spelling STING!

RE: New PB on fuel consumption - kev11e - 04-04-2007

G'day
If my arithmetic is correct 9.4km/litre is 10.6litre/100km which is almost twice the fuel i use around town...is that calculated by yourself, or are you relying on the funny readouts in the odometer window?
Regards
kevin

Yes, my bike is f@cked. I'm just whinging now, I need to get to Sydney to see Col, but taking a couple of days off work is the issue. I'm just impressed with how shit it is getting and how it is getting worse. I'm thinking about lighting a cigarette behind it just to see what happens.

If the scientists are correct, I wouldn't be smokin any where near that thing.
And I'd be considering banning all mobile phones as well.

I'VE SEEN WHAT A MATCH AND A FART CAN DO!
