Greetings from Denmark - Holger the Dane - 02-03-2007

Well after 24 hours flight time via Hong Kong and London I have finally arrived. Wish I could say the same for my luggage, which is currently on another flight from London to Copenhagen. Joy.

And I have arrived to riots in the very part of Copenhagen where my sister lives. Super.

There is snow on the ground and garbage bins on fire... What a lovely place to visit. Oh and a shit-load of coppers (including a helicopter copper), to try and stem the tide of young hooligans that have claimed a building for thier own. Fun and games. Cheers,
Holge

Re: Greetings from Denmark - Big Steve - 02-03-2007

The hoons aren't scared of CS spray and battons anymore
so the police need to pop down to the Copenhagen national history museum and pick up the long swords and pole axes, and while their at it get some of the guy's from the Norwegian, Swedish and Danish strongman circuit to give them a hand if required.

Just an idea...... "Bildlight timpenn"

Steve.

Wish it was under better circumstances, Holge.

Avoid the trouble - find your own abandoned building, start your own break away community, Busaland, and we'll all come over and join you.... (summer residences, only)

Re: Greetings from Denmark - Sentinel - 02-03-2007

Ditto....What they said before! "Don't ride behind me, I just ate beans. Don't ride in front of me because your ass is huge. Just ride beside me so I can push you into on coming traffic."

Re: Greetings from Denmark - Holger the Dane - 02-03-2007

Thanks for the well wishes folks,

And sure rod, you can have my viffer, IF YOU CAN PRY IT FROM MY COLD DEAD HAND!!!

When I said that we lived in the area of the riots I may not have been quite acurate. My sisters appartment is on the second floor and the action was right outside!! I´m talking, riot vans, police in full gear, helicopters, tear gas, bricks at cars and riot vans, police dogs (which they got out of there quick smart) and lots of other gear... holy f***!! And they expect more fo the next two nights. Oh did I mention homemade grenades and bonfires on the streets..

Got some great video and pics but photobucket it down at the mo.. I´ll stay in touch.. your man at the scene Cheers,
Holge
