Im back (frame break) - jamie - 23-10-2000

Hi guys just got back from Mildura today had rain the whole way back. The bikes in getting the recall work done tomorow
so it will be good for the gp.When i was in Mildura on the
weekend went to the local honda shop for a look to kill some
time. The guy behind the counter asked me how the bike was going and said that he had one to.then he took me out the back to show me his where his frame had broken on his 7000kay old bike.No this bike has not been crashed before you ask.He was in the process of putting on a bag rack when
he found the break.the break was on one side only right on the weld.He will be at the gp so i hope to catch up with him.And here i was cruising around Mildura thinking i was the only busa in town when there ara a couple of them.

Re: Im back (frame break) - jamie - 24-10-2000

No Baxter and trengove in Ballarat.

Re: Im back (frame break) - demeester - 24-10-2000

Action Melb have only done one tensioner recall to date. They have not set any dates for starting the pile, or any idea how long it will take to get through them all...

So much for the 'after market' pipes theory then.....in this case at least.
