Lap time - JFR - 10-03-2001 Had a ride day at phillip island on my 99 busa its got 5000ks on the orig tyres and achieved a 2.01.4 lap time. I consider my skill level somewhere in the middle, not a racer but serious enough to have a go! Any one had their busa down at the island that would like to fess up how we went.Dont wish to start internal qualifing, but it would be interesting to find out the skill levels of our club.Interesting my lap was 28 seconds slower than a v8supercar but felt faster!thanks Re: Lap time - demeester - 13-03-2001 My only intentions were to stay upright, so I ignored times entirely. Surely doing it on a bike would feel faster than being in the car, being "out there" and "closer" to it all... Re: Lap time - demeester - 14-03-2001 Apparently a clarification is required here - when I was down at the track for pure fun, I remained focused on staying upright. When I was down on the track for cornering, times were irrelevant, and my focus on leaning took away from my focus on staying upright... Re: Lap time - rev 01 - 15-03-2001 My lap dance times are about 10 seconds ! YIKES! - Heidi1 - 16-03-2001 Mine are probably about 10 MINUTES! |
