OK, guys, having a problem that occurs more and more.

Frequently, when I shift 1st-2nd, it goes into neutral. This is not toooo big a problem, as I generally skip second anyway - 1st - 3rd, but when it happens, I of course end up in 2nd when I am planning to be in 3rd.

Is this a common problem? can it be easily rectified?

only had those sort of problems whilst the bike was fairly new, after i had done around 8,000 k they all cleared...

but i do agree that early in the peace i was complaining about the shift being very 'notchy' and sticky Edited by les  at: 7/22/00 4:40:09 pm
