Hayabusa Ad - Fox - 26-04-2001

Does anyone have a copy of the Hayabusa TV ad?
I have never seen it ...

If someone can get me a copy I can digitise it and put it on the site .....

Anyone have contacts at Suzuki maybe ..

Re: Hayabusa Ad - demeester - 26-04-2001

I may have a copy of the US ad, but I don't have the one that we had in Australia. Will look for it tonight.

Re: Hayabusa Ad - demeester - 27-04-2001

I don't know if I can send them to you, as they are quite large. Do you want me to try? I don't have anywhere to upload them to on the web.

The high res version is 17Mb, and low res is 8Mb. Zipping only takes 2-3% off the size.

If you have somewhere you can put them, then I will try and email them... let me know.

Re: Hayabusa Ad - demeester - 27-04-2001

Just checked them both out again, and on this machine at least, the low resolution version actually plays a lot smoother than the high-res.

The ad was called "You Don't Need Wings to Fly".

Re: Hayabusa Ad - demeester - 27-04-2001

I like the fine print during the ad...

Quote: THE GSX1300R IS ENGINEERED FOR EXPERIENCED RIDERS.

Re: Hayabusa Ad - Volvi - 27-04-2001

But is it the same ad like we had here in Oz, with the eagle swooping down changing to the busa?

Re: Hayabusa Ad - demeester - 27-04-2001

It is an eagle changing to a Busa, but still a different ad.

Here, the eagle morphed and was quite advanced graphic wise, but the ad I have shows the eagle entering a cloud and the Busa bursting out the other side.

Re: Hayabusa Ad - Fox - 27-04-2001

Send them to me anyway richard or FTP it if you like.

What format are they?

Re: Hayabusa Ad - demeester - 27-04-2001

MPEG

Re: Hayabusa Ad - Volvi - 27-04-2001

Would be good if there was somewhere on the web where it could be stored then the link posted. Maybe on Peter Lee's site? Come to think of it the new egroups under yahoo has room for files up to 20 meg I think groups.yahoo.com/group/austbusaclub check it out.

Re: Hayabusa Ad - demeester - 27-04-2001

People have to register, then to see it...

Looking for a solution....

Re: Hayabusa Ad - rocketman - 27-04-2001

Boys, Boys, Boys........an eagle changing into a busa???????

Re: Hayabusa Ad - OhzOne - 28-04-2001

G`day Demeester,
another way you could do it is by imesh
it is a file sharing program
(a bit like Napster but with a resume and roam ability)
you would probably be inundated at first but as more people got the file then they would share the load

regards Brian

P.S the program is 2.1meg yuo can get if you want it at

download.cnet.com/downloa...-108-52376

Re: Hayabusa Ad - Fox - 30-04-2001

I'm happy to stick it on my server ....

Also I'll convert it to Windows Media Streaming so you can watch it without having to download ....

Can you get it put on Mac Zip disc somewhere somehow richard...?
