A month ago there was a 999 Duke on sale for $4800 BUY NOW to once again pre approved buyers

Be Aware this is a scam, and I'd encourage all to notify ebay

Speaking of ebay, was on the yank site last night lookin through the busa parts, and there was an 03 model rear subframe for $28US,for those looking to change there cheesecake aluminium one!

Re: ? - bigshowbusa - 17-12-2003

the pre approved part is the fruadsters attempt to stop honest people spoiling the scam...ie just creating a new account and bidding a ridiculous amount. Probably 9/10 (or more) pre approved bidder auctions are scams...
here's another one ebay scam Must be a special on busas this week it seems they've got a few stolen ID's to work with.

steel subframe on ebay steel subframe they generally go for under US$100, the killer will be shipping it here...

I still dont get it. Whats the scam... they post it up there, someone wins the auction and what? Do they expect someone to send the cash then they dont send the bike?
I noticed that in the user feedback they bought heaps of items but never sold anything and their user rating is always exactly 100. Does seem sus but I dont understand how they expect to "scam"

Re: ? - bigshowbusa - 17-12-2003

I don't know how they'd expect anyone to send any money either...but then I don't know how people get duped by the 'advance fee' frauds originating out of Africa etc either...which apparently have netted about US$6billion...go figureD">
