Just checking out ebay they have black rear hugger/chain guard for $US95 plus $US35 shipping to Aust. equals 130 US or $A175

is this a good price or can i get it elsewhere (where?) better...

There's a place called Geelong Carbon, they have a web site, plus there's a few bike shops that have sites and sell them. The price sounds very good though!

got a better deal - paid $A105 for a new hugger/chain guard on Ebay last night!!!!

Best looking and practical one is the Power Bronze. IMHO



About $250 from memory.
Real Carbon fibre ones are crap. They crack!
Carbon fibre look alike is crap. Always looks like it's in undercoat! And the ones that the woodies like that sit too close to the tyre are also crap. Get the tyre sticky and then park on the gravel and a rock "will" break it! :">
