its official the 2006 busa beater is out or going to be very soon with a 1352cc inline four runniong 192 or something like that claimed. with 250kg wet weight sounds like suzuki needs to pull there socks up. lloks a bit wierd tho. itrs up on the kawasaki australia website

Re: 2006 zx14 - CAS3234 - 04-10-2005

Good luck Mr Kawasaki but I think you will need more than cubes to catch us.

price - DAN85 - 04-10-2005

jsut talked to my friendly kawaka dealer who said they would be upwards of $20,000 plus on roads. so a $18,000 busa with $4000 of mods should do the trick of killing one completely plus the front doesnt match the rear looks kinda stupid

Re: price - BUSGO - 04-10-2005

The new Kawasaki is a competitor for the FJR1300 Yammie and in America it is being released as a ZZR1400.

Here is a photo I put up earlier. It has got a very slick nose on it though.

zzr1400 - Bazoomatic - 04-10-2005

Looks like a spider from the front. I hate spiders
And what's with the plastic ribs on the side?? Is that so that you get the maximum amount of hot air on your legs in summer or what? And that WIDE arse Whats the point in intergrating the indicators into the tail if you have to double its width?

I thought the zx9 was good but the '97 zx7 was better. This thing looks like it was designed by a blind man.

zzr1400

Does anyone have a sideways shot of it?

umm... its a zzr1400 not a zx14

zx14 - DAN85 - 05-10-2005

kawasaki website is claiming it as the 06 ninja zx14.

Thanks Busgo...

Re: 2006 zx14 - rocket rod 7777 - 05-10-2005

I think it looks rather good in an ugly kind of way, sort of like the busa.Lets face it,i didnt buy a busa because of its good looks. You guys are just shirty because kawasaki have upped the anti while suzuki are sitting on their fat arses. Phuck its the phantom!

ZX14 -- you beauty - gazza414 - 05-10-2005

My understanding is it will be released as the ZX14 and will kick the Hayabusa's butt...... I truely hope it does --no B/S.

One thing for sure it will do on the dyno---- But then again we all know the ZX12 has more grunt on top.

busa beater? - DAN85 - 05-10-2005

I agree gazza. if it does whip the busa it can only mean a new busa that will whip the zx14 which can only be a good thing for the buying public. not so good for the motorcycle hating others
