Bike shop Open Sunday - Blackzook - 24-07-2005
I work 6 days a week and need to find a bike shop in Sydney that sell and will fit tyres on Sundays. Anywhere in Sydney is fine as long as they sell Bridgestones.
Any suggestions??

I know Actions in Parramatta is open Sundays but I think it is only their sales department. Anyway I wouldnt let Action Suzuki within a hundred miles of my bike (Shit....better move)
Can you get time off during the week to get them down to a bike shop. Also, why Bridgies. Try the Michelins mate, I'm happy with em. Some people say nice things on the Pirellis too but opinion on them is very polarised on this board. Ask around and you'll see. Regards

I tried actions and you are right sales department only. I am happy with the bridgies so will stick with them. I have decided to take this morning off work to get the tyres and my new Galespeed rims fitted. The rims have been sitting in front of my telly all yesterday and I cant wait to get them on.

Hi Ray,
I got the rims and bridgie 014's fitted today. The wheels look awesome and the steering feels more responsive.
Only problem is I cant see them when I'm riding , every time I lean to the side to try and see the shiney wheels spinning around the bike turns.
I'll have to make do with looking at their reflection in shop windows.
I have given up trying to post pictures (please dont try to explain how) so I might take a few snaps and email them to you to post if thats OK?

Busgo, I'll let you know if he managed to keep up with the red/black machine...
By the way Busgo, should I go to the drags with or without baffles? Would I get thorugh the scrutineers okay? Would it make a diffrence in bottom end power or top end speed?

Bruce.... for future reference, Ed (who runs the little workshop at Road Warriors) fits tyres Saturday and Sunday - co-incidentally I'm having Bridgestone 014s fitted next Sunday. I'd have done it last weekend, but he didn't have the right size rear. The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob (Astro)
