Nightmare on my street - Djpete - 15-06-2005 I had rubbed a bit of turps over some areas of the Busa to get off some grime...next day I wheel the bike out into the sunshine and have a look at my pride and joy. To my terror all of the paint on the front mudguard and left hand side fairing have crows feet effects all over them...!! I can't believe it so put my hands over to feel it and the crows feet are grooved right into the paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stuffed, just been resprayed and the whole thing is stuffed....faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark! ...I then wake up in a cold sweat this morning saying to my wife "Thank God it was only a dream!" Do I need therapy? What does this dream mean? Cheers, Pete Blast ya horn when going past a manned speed camera. Let them know you're not happy! You can make a difference! More Info Re: Nightmare on my street - AstroBusa - 15-06-2005 I had rubbed a bit of turps over some areas of the Busa to get off some grime... (There are areas in your life you are not happy with. Your bike is a symbol of your virility, seat of power and an outward ex-pression of your personaility - in essence a representation of your life. In your dream, you are 'cleaning up your act/life'.) next day I wheel the bike out into the sunshine and have a look at my pride and joy. (Having cleaned up your act, you are ready to launch the 'new you' on an unsuspecting world... but first you indulge in a little pride at your achievements. Look over the new you.) To my terror all of the paint on the front mudguard and left hand side fairing have crows feet effects all over them...!! (You go out into the world and shock/horror still experience criticism.... even tho you feel you have taken steps to resolve issues and have changed, you don't get the outcome you wanted) I can't believe it so put my hands over to feel it and the crows feet are grooved right into the paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stuffed, just been resprayed and the whole thing is stuffed....faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark! (Like a good little human, you have an initial DENIAL reaction - these will eventually be followed by Bargaining, Anger and finally Acceptance phases) ....I then wake up in a cold sweat this morning saying to my wife "Thank God it was only a dream!" (In your subconscious, you still have a personal value even if its only as your wife's fashion accessory. If nothing else, she still sleeps in the same bed as you so you can't be a total reject... right ? Any reference to 'it was only a dream' usually means 'I have another chance') Do I need therapy? (No... you just need to identify what it is you are not satisfied with, decide on an action plan, take strong and determined steps to complete the action plan and be able to recognise when you have achieved it.) What does this dream mean? Read the above Regards.... Rob (Astro) Re: Nightmare on my street - Djpete - 15-06-2005 Unbelievable ! That is SOOOOOOOOO funny. Er u were joking wern't u Astro.....? Of 9 people, all 9 bet on NSW to win (includes 3 Queenslanders). When stupid me asked "Why ?" I got the following explanation. Whoever wins the first game wins the series. Whoever loses the first game wins the second game. It's rigged. All delivered very matter-of-factly with all attendees nodding and looking at me like... "Well... didn't you know that dummy ?" Anyone got the stats ? Regards.... Rob (Astro) Ohh... - AstroBusa - 16-06-2005 .... and no more free consultations ! Regards....
