Hayabusa Convention (When, v2) - demeester - 13-04-2004 OK, to get an idea...Late 2004, w/end or long w/end + 1 or 2 days on either/both sides Late 2004, full week no problems Early 2005, extended weekend as above2005 Easter Maybe just for coffee, and then go home...Show results December '04 is getting a few votes - WARD P - 13-04-2004 Like I said before, if December I can accomodate plenty at the Motel at Tallangatta. (check previous corro on original thread.) Bright, Mt Beauty, up to Corryong and Cabramurra, Falls Creek are all great day rides close by, and it's between Melbourne and Sydney. For Sydney riders it's a fantastic ride up over the snowys to get here. Melbourneites could come up over Hotham. cheers, WARD PS. - WARD P - 13-04-2004 PS. I didn't vote . . . but my second choice would be Western NSW as it's Central to everyone - but pretty boring riding. I'll try and get to it no matter where. Re: Hayabusa Convention (When, v2) - Tony - 14-04-2004 The ride is not the most important thing, it is to get as many people & bikes to one central place. check out other bikes & talk to people with the same ideas. No good having a nice ride with only ten bikes there doing it. ie Tasie. um - Heidi1 - 14-04-2004 Sorry Tony, for me it is the ride. I love talking bikes with the best of them, but it is actually riding the thing that makes me smile. I'll go if Max goes. HEIDI xxx Re: um - Tony - 15-04-2004 Good Heidi, you will enjoy the ride where ever it is. Hope there are heaps of us there too. Re: um - Max - 15-04-2004 The ride is the reason, the talk is the result of having riding enthusiasts doing the BBB thing afterwards which is always entertaining. Having a huge mob of Buses together would just be awesome. I believe the likelihood of getting that huge mob together depends on accessibility to the largest number of attendants. My shoulder will restrict me in distance but if we end up pretty well anywhere in NSW I'll certainly go, shifts permitting, when I eventually get back to work I am a shift worker. If Heidi goes I'll go! Max Madmax - GSX1300R Black and Blue Buses Rule Good Bike, Good Woman, Good Road, Good Weather, Good God - Good Bye! Smith and Wesson - The original point and click interface. |
