Re: Explanation of mods - Viking - 19-03-2003

I have a set of 1" spacers that allow the bars to be raised an inch but also can drop the front by an inch too. I wonder how much more easier it will be to corner by increasing the rake like that.

RE:MODS - rocket rod 7777 - 19-03-2003

Viking,i think an inch would be a bit extreme. The thing might steer like a RGV250 in corners but your high speed stability wouldn't be good.I reckon about 5-10mm is all you need.....cheers Rod.

Re: RE:MODS - Fast Sjonny - 20-03-2003

I have to read my own explanation but I mentioned the higheringlinks at the back.
At the front you can lower the bike about 4mm without any modifications, at the back you can use higheringlinks, the modification is very easy to do.

And thanks for the compliment!

Cheers,
Jan

Re: RE:MODS - Fast Sjonny - 20-03-2003

I see now that I didn't add the highering links to my own modificationpage.
When you understand a little dutch you can see the modificationpage at my other website: hayabusaclubholland.motorpage.com.
I will add the mod's also to my Fast-Sjonny-Website when I have some time. Weather is too good now

Cheers,

Meanwhile, it is summer in Melbourne, and gloomy and wet...

Re: RE:Gloomy and Wet! - GDYUP - 21-03-2003

And the hard core Busa riders amongst us are still riding and not talking!
Well I am. (Don't forget to turn on the heated hand grips and wear the thermal long johns)
Cheers, Phil. (Riding not talking) Bbrrrrrrrrrrrr
