Maggot just to make you feel better - HAYABUSA ROD - 22-11-2006
out for a ride today when some twit taxi driver pulled out on me a slamed on the brakes i hit my brakes pulled the bus up no problem but back keep on coming an up she goes on front wheel i go over handelbars somehow still holding on to them and back under the bike befour she fell so lucky it landed on me lifted it up could not start as still a bit shook up and kill switch had been hit off so i pushed to side of road fixed mirrors one was fully back and one was fully forward by that time taxi had did runner couple of people asked if i was ok i just wanted to get out of there so i did not even lift my visor just jumped back on bike and got out of there as it was in the middle of Flinders St with about a croud of 200 so pride was moore hirt got home replaced bar ends give little bit of cutting compound and i realy dont no how but after lying it down not a mark on it now i feel like i did the splits and shoulder bit crook so i think i have had my lucky escape for the year other than looking like a complete no dammage done THE WARRIOR

Glad to read you are OK and the BUS as well of course. Frickin taxi drivers ! I've had a couple of close calls but not like your situation. They don't give a rats about anything else but the money that they're putting in their pocket.

Jst another reason to hate Taxi drivers...
I used to commute along the Tulla freeway on my old CBR900 Bolodor and the FJ1200 for years. I fugen hate Taxi drivers.

Having gone down on my pushbike in pretty much the same area, I can relate to your need to geet up and go as quick as possible!
Really glad that you are OK and that the Busa suffered little damage...
Time to find a good masseur to get rid of the aches and pains. Maybe some club membres can suggest a few places?
As for taxi drivers, the reason they piss of so fast is coz they don't have a licence or visa, and can't afford to get caught and end up being sent back to India/Pakistan!
Best way to piss them off is to phone and book a few to turn up at the furthest distance from the city/airport/station/etc... with no one there to greet them (but use a telephone box, as they can trace the call)
