Clutch claw - Buzzard - 15-06-2002 Whats the go with the clutch claw that balls performance is selling for the busas that have had the clutch modification done ? The claw - Gnarbunkle - 16-06-2002 Some modified clutches have heavier springs and and their lock up mechanism welded up to be inoperative. Apparently the greater lever effort needed to overcome the heavier springs has been known to cause cracking around the slave cylinder support. To prevent cracking, the external aluminium claw stops the slave from flexing the slaves mount, I think. Re: Clutch claw - Buzzard - 16-06-2002 Thanks for the quick reply Gnarbunkle. Regards Buzz Re: Clutch claw - SCAREYC - 30-07-2002 the clutch claw was designed as a alternative to replacing your clutch cover when you have had a clutch mod done on your bike. Gnarbunkle was right it is to avoid the housing cracking as i have seen this on a few busas myself. your best bet is to contact RON AT BALLS TUNING ON (03) 9364 8993 for further info on this product. |
