Service Manual - ardvark - 06-06-2001

Anyone know of any service manuals or even an electronic version available from a source other than a dealer?

Maybe you can contact him and he will send just one, or maybe you can get a few more people interested.

service manual $$$$ - Fast Freddy Gassit - 06-06-2001

There is a dude in the states that sells busa manuals for $US30 but $US40 shipping.
Contact details are:
"Riggs Kwong" <cholocholo41@hotmail.com>

There are NO haynes manuals for the busa nor are there any plans for Haynes UK to publish one. I know, they emailed me back with that snippet. <bummer>
IMHO the haynes manual is definately worth the moolah.
I have a factory and haynes manual for my gixxer and they complement each other with their respective strengths and weaknesses.
The R1 haynes manual I have in my hot little hands at the moment is F.great. For example, descriptions of say exup or tps adjustment, it takes you step by step and assumes you know very little. <how true>

Anyway, you have stuff all choice for the busa.
The factory manual will originate from a dealer. Whether your local m/c shop can source it otherwise, I think unlikely. Prices range from $102-$155.90 (no shit). There appears to be 2 forms available.
1.-1999 model version with a 2000 model supplement
2. 2001 model version with all previous models covered.

Somehow I ended buying #1 (I have a Y2K) for the lower price though the suzy part# evidently only covers #2 at the higher price bracket.
Ring around as there is disparity between dealers

(the above info is from my experiance as of 2 weeks ago as I was stuffed if I was going to pay $150 for a manual)

Cheers Michael
