Latest result from Wily E C - peter altas - 16-07-2003 Thanks heaps Franko, love it. Peter Altas BUSA-1 Re: Latest result from Wily E C - imagunna - 16-07-2003 O.K. Looks good, are they going to be available to all. Are they only in black and have you worked out a cost? Re: Latest result from Wily E C - Wily E C - 17-07-2003 Thanx for posting up the t-shirt,Peter. & thanx for your inquiries,Imagunna. This `Digital Transfer `process is great for `One-off`or`Personalised`t-shirts. To set up a `Screen`for printing,is really quite expensive, but if a large number of orders are taken, the cost per shirt would dramatically reduce. It`s something we`re planning for,a little way down the track,if enough interest is shown. Back to the transfers, for those interested :- WHITE OR LIGHT GREY (1 SIDE) = $35 (2 SIDES) = $45 ANY OTHER COLOUR (1 SIDE) = $47 (2 SIDES) = $57 POSTAGE = $6 These figures are taken direct from the printers`price schedule. I don`t make any profit as I am more than happy to do a shirt for anyone at the printers` price. For anyone interested, just e-mail me with your details.....address,size,colour preference etc. & I`ll have one made up for you. Cheers Franko frank.lovasz@bigpond.com Re: Latest result from Wily E C - A Real Jewel - 20-07-2003 Hi Franko Dave (SubRX) and I would be interested in getting a couple of these. A question though, can you have the transfer without the grey square surround? And can we supply our own t-shirt? (Most of these are "guy" sized and way too big for li'l ol' me!) Cheers, Julie Jules - always smiling, it keeps everyone guessing! Re: Latest result from Wily E C - Wily E C - 23-07-2003 Hi there Julie Thanx for the posting. Up until recently, this `digital transfer`process was only able to be done on a white or light grey t-shirt.They now discovered a way to do it on black & other coloured shirts.Which is great, but to do so,they actually use a double transfer. One white(as a backing to highlight the white in the design) & a pale`ish kind of black(like the one you see, thanx to Peter`s posting). It`s certainly not an exact colour match with the black t-shirt & unfortunately it`s the only way they can do it .(They explained to me that they did in fact experiment with a lot of other materials but this apparently, was the only successful one). Being a double transfer,at first,it kind of feels a bit thick & leathery but after a few washes,it should soften up.I`ve done designs on white shirts that have (with reasonable care)lasted for over 2yrs. You certainly can supply your own shirts,Julie, but the difference in price, for the printing,is only $5. They are pretty good quality shirts & as I mentioned, they do last well. There is a large range of sizes & of course, even for li`l ol` you, Jules. Cheers Franko PS:I`ll bring one of the black shirts out to our ride on Sunday & you can check it out, close up. Looking forward to meeting you,Dave & everyone. Should be a hoot of a day. |
