Tank Slapper - glen66 - 01-11-2006 G'day guys, I am just about to bring in a small shipment of Tank Slappers. I have link underneath. I have struck a deal with Pacific Auto Trim in California (who invented them). I am using them for an upcoming project but since I can get them in for $24 shipped to you rather than everyone elses $36 undelivered, thought i might put it out there for you guys. besides splitting up the incoming and getting them off to you from here, it doesn't take me much to put the order in for twenty rather than five. Let me know if you want in. one more thing, these guys are good communicators and have been quick and reliable. I wish all the septics were as decent and effective as these guys. let's make the cutoff on friday night and I'll get that order in and confirmed. I will make another on request if umm, requested. Any bike, doesn't really matter, doesn't have to be exclusively Busa or anything. regards, glen. What the hell is a tank slapper besides a good weekend gone bad. Re: Tank Slapper - Maggot1300 - 01-11-2006 looks good Glen, especially the no glue bit Re: Tank Slapper - glen66 - 01-11-2006 Yeah Matt. I was looking for something like this and thought it would suit us. We are kind of precious about the paint and since we are (to the most degree) worried about the contact area on the tank thought this would do the trick instead of running our huge arse tank bras all the time. I have something special in mind for the revamped Maggot Machine. Something you will love but it will take a little trial and error, hopefully not to much error. I just have to know a few details about the top secret project you got running. Edited by: glen66 at: 1/11/06 21:37 Re: Tank Slapper - Maggot1300 - 01-11-2006 yeah, but I think my tendency to slide down the road on my arse is my real problem any ideas on the decals? (pm me as Its a secret ) Re: Tank Slapper - glen66 - 01-11-2006 yep. Lower the cone of silence, or is it the cone of ignorance? Re: Tank Slapper - Maggot1300 - 01-11-2006 cheers Glen [ Re: Tank Slapper - Nick - 01-11-2006 lol, hey glen mate, how ya doing .... I Ordered one of ya from e bay, what ya guna charge me for it .... Paint needs some seriouse protection lol.... Cheers: Nick.... Re: Tank Slapper - glen66 - 01-11-2006 The same as all of us Nick. I got asked about five times about them that night. lol. geez, and I thought it would be a suprise that i saved ya a few bucks. If nothing else, it proves I didn't lie to you on ebay. Assuming that I get enough requests to cut the deal, that is. It will always be cheaper than the quote anyways. on the side of caution until I had it in writing from the US. Yours is on it's way already. Send me your addy and I'll have a post pak ready to go out as soon as it arrives. Has your cool screen arrived yet? It crossed my mind about keeping that one. I doubt Matt has forgiven me for not on-selling that flamed out underbelly and chain guard. Looks great by the way, Matt. Edited by: glen66 at: 1/11/06 23:32 Re: Tank Slapper - Nick - 01-11-2006 lol, no worries mate, thanks for that... just wasnt sure how much ya wanted me to transfer across to ya for it (At ya lesiure e-mail me an exact price inc postage and i will tranfer it too ya) .... lol i trust ya mate and would recomend ya to other people, been good to me, cheers....
