Bike only runs 5% throttle - Monyx - 07-02-2019 K5 gen 1 Barely got home, anything more than smidge on throttle dies, backfires if i persist with stalling/stuttering. Suspected fuel pump gummed up but surprisingly after 14yrs looked ok, needs replacing but do u think this was the prob? Regards RE: Bike only runs 5% throttle - Monyx - 08-02-2019 no fault codes. i really dubious about the ext filter mod, thinking I'll get a new Kemso pump & shake/clean the old black plastic filter assembly as best I can. If no good, then do the ext filter mod as last resort. Bike only runs 5% throttle - Monyx - 13-08-2019 So few months back new $40 Kemso pump got me going, but only marginally better. Ordered new fuel filter for usd220 & put that in & all back to normal. So my in tank filter lasted 55k kms, 14yrs, i always run prem 95ron.
