Crank Balancer seal - Dogdda - 11-04-2017

Looks like the O-ring on the crank balancer shaft has decided that it no longer wants to keep the oil inside.

Anyone changed this out before? The DIY manual is not very clear but looks as though the shaft only needs to withdrawn far enough to replace the seal.

Any advice appreciated

Hoowee! you don't want to pull that shaft out too far! But yes, if you can get the arm off the shaft and retract the shaft just enough to change the o-ring you should be right.
