was thinking of chucking a tent on and riding up for a 1 nighter, can anyone suggest a good campground on the thunderbolts way between i guess barrington and nowendoc
im thinking its too big a ride to be able to also do oxley and home in just weekend

Cheap accommodation at Gingers Creek. Spartan but effective and its all about the Oxley...

how long would it take sydney to walcha then to gingers?
ive done oxley once but cant remember times

Sydney to Gloucester is about 3 hrs. Another 2 hrs to Walcha including a stop at the lookout and about 1:15 to Gingers Creek.

i did Sydney to armidale .. overnight and back on buckets way / thunder .. awesome bit of road
