Weights under footpegs. - Ando - 13-02-2016

Does anyone know what the weights under the footpegs are for and if they need to be there? Cheers

They are there to try and remove the vibes coming through the pegs, in the same way that the bar end weights are huge in comparison to other bikes.
I have changed mine, and I don't notice any difference in the pegs, but after a recent long ride, the bar end weights should be retained in my opinion.

I've got after market pegs on mine and don't notice the difference!
The Bars are a different story, Im running a set of dirt bike bar ends (must only weigh 20grams each) you notice the difference with the vibes at higher rev's but not unbearable! I also have foam over covers on my grips so they will be dampening some of the vibes also.

If I want to remove 110Kg of fat from my Busa, I just hop off.
