Weights under footpegs. - Ando - 13-02-2016 Does anyone know what the weights under the footpegs are for and if they need to be there? Cheers RE: Weights under footpegs. - Shordy - 13-02-2016 They are there to try and remove the vibes coming through the pegs, in the same way that the bar end weights are huge in comparison to other bikes. I have changed mine, and I don't notice any difference in the pegs, but after a recent long ride, the bar end weights should be retained in my opinion. RE: Weights under footpegs. - mozzie26 - 13-02-2016 That 400 odd grams is going to make a big difference on a 260kg bike! RE: Weights under footpegs. - Corpsedealer - 14-02-2016 I've got after market pegs on mine and don't notice the difference! The Bars are a different story, Im running a set of dirt bike bar ends (must only weigh 20grams each) you notice the difference with the vibes at higher rev's but not unbearable! I also have foam over covers on my grips so they will be dampening some of the vibes also. RE: Weights under footpegs. - Huls - 14-02-2016 If I want to remove 110Kg of fat from my Busa, I just hop off.
