Not a chance of rain. Life is good! We'll be there all day, so feel free to come in for a visit (free). Can't miss us. There will be lots of Hayabusas parked together... I'll have 3!!! (My road bike, track bike and Ben's bike) RE: Sydney Hayabusa track day and Christmas Party - SMSP, Friday 18t of December 2015 - maddogmoy - 21-12-2015 Pan, how did you go? How did the 3 bikes perform out on the track? Would you like the make any improvements to the bikes? cheers RE: Sydney Hayabusa track day and Christmas Party - SMSP, Friday 18t of December 2015 - pan - 22-12-2015 Awesome day. Had two sessions on Ben's bike, trying to sort out his quick shifter, without luck. Still a little problematic shifting down gears, but a beautiful bike to ride! Lots of improvements we could make, but it's basically a new road bike with a 4 into 1 that goes like a rocket. He's using it to attempt his blindfold speed record, so it'll do the job as it is. My track-bike was amazing, as usual, and at the end of the day I actually rode it faster as my confidence got better. Apart from newer tyres, nothing else I would change... ...though I will be putting on the carbon fairings again, soon, rather than the blue ones it has now. The turbo? It didn't come off the trailer in the end. Was having too much fun with the trackie! The whole front end is off a GSXR1000 2008 model, re-sprung, revolved also, so it probably sits lower than stock as a result. The brake master cylinder is still the stock 99 though and works really well, surprisingly. The weight of the bike started at 247kgs, and it's now well under 190kgs with a full tank. Total beast on the track compared to my road bike! RE: Sydney Hayabusa track day and Christmas Party - SMSP, Friday 18t of December 2015 - pan - 04-01-2016 Got another sneaky track day in on Saturday. Stay Upright had to cancel a track day at a later date, so they sent me an email on short notice saying there were new dates... and I could have a spot on 02/01/16! Loved it! |
