Clutch lever - paul j - 21-08-2015 RE: Clutch lever - Batfink - 21-08-2015 it's a micro switch in the lever so theoretically if you bridge them it should give signal that clutch lever is depressed permanently. RE: Clutch lever - paul j - 21-08-2015 Thanks for the reply. Will this be a problem if I go this way instead of using a banjo switch. Cheers Paul. RE: Clutch lever - Shordy - 21-08-2015 I recently had my ECU flashed and on the paperwork I see that there is a setting that effects max revs in neutral and also with the clutch engaged, or at least that's what I think it means. Therefore I gather that the clutch switch sends some kind of a signal to the ECU. I only mention this as I was thinking that the switch may or may not effect other functions. hey, it probably doesn't but ?????? RE: Clutch lever - ohzone - 21-08-2015 I am happy to stand corrected but I think the clutch switch sets the bike into an idle map which would not provide correct fueling or timing for the bike in gears 1 to 6 RE: Clutch lever - Maj - 21-08-2015 Yep low power setting How do you go with electrics ? you can wire the clutch switch to parallel the starter circuit , with a relay receiving a signal from the starter button and closing the clutch switch , then the rest of the starter stuff works as normal |
