The Ultimate Road Busa - Belzybob - 17-02-2015

This thought came to me today when replying to a note from another forum user. What non-OEM changes would you make to your ultimate ROAD Busa?

I'll start:

- Ohlins F & R
- Brembo rotors and master
- Bodywork weight reduction with carbon fibre panels and frame clean up of unnecessary bits
- Flowed head with warmer (not hot, hot hot) cams
- ECU tune by Camel
- New headers in titanium with twin CF Yoshi mufflers (coz they look the best)
- Good tyres (my call Michelin, but not intended to be a tyre debate)
- Chain upgrade
- Neat and small NO2 feed for the odd get away

Some guidance principles:
- Nothing that would sacrifice road riding ability- still useable to commute in traffic
- No silly long swing arms etc suited for drag stuff
- Road legal
- Nothing for purely cosmetic reasons

So, what would you add to the list (or even make a new list)???

I'd be happy with that list of mods except I would have a 4 into 1 Yoshi.
I would also add a set of Galespeed wheels.

I'll have one please.
Hey u forgot sponge grips though..

RE: The Ultimate Road Busa - Batfink - 18-02-2015

Add adjustable rearsets and sculptured seat for rider stability

Out of interest what would head work and new cams cost ,cause a turbo kit seems over the top .

Easy to remove and replace fairings with clips that dont break by just looking at them.

A tiny but practical centre stand.

A better seat.

Stealth technology.

A double bubble screen, useful eletric cruise control and most importantly a licence that doesn't run out of points or can be taken away!!!

RE: The Ultimate Road Busa - kozzo - 18-02-2015

Loss of weight would be good!

RE: The Ultimate Road Busa - Corpsedealer - 18-02-2015

Nice list Belzy, I'd add carbon wheels, Larger front rotors, And tubo'd.

But all changes have to be legal in all states.

I had sponge grips, then took them off. It dulled the feel, a bit like wearing a rubber.

Weight loss was in the back of my mind, but aside from changing the exhaust system it's not east. CF fairings and seat maybe?

Oh Steve, you're so clumsy!
