RE: Front sprocket - Batfink - 10-12-2014 to have final drive to be a lower speed you need to make front sprocket smaller.. increase the ratio of how many times the front has to turn to make the rear turn once if original is a 18/41 drive or a ratio of 2.278 then a 17/41 will end up 2.412 or a decrease in final speed of about 6% 16/41 = 2.563 or decrease of about 11% heres a basic spreadsheet calculator I made... Not sure about all aftermarket but BST and GaleSpeed have their own pattern. Has never been an issue for me, I usually get either AFAM or SuperSprox.
