Gear racks - harleyore - 08-10-2014

Hello everyone,

Just a quick question, I have an Rjays explorer bag the large expandable one, Would it fit on a ventura gear rack? as looking to get a rack but use existing bag. Also carrying bags on the back do they cause drag or flap around? as I use the rjays on the Harley and with speed and riding position difference there isn't a problem but wondering with a forward riding style if the bag would sit in the wind to much?

I used zip ties to hold bottom of my soft side bags still, on the gen 1 I just looped around exhaust mounting bracket, on the gen 2 there is actually a nice "hook" molded into the same bracket

Yes, it fits just fine. just remember that the ventura rack is pretty lightweight.
