Back on Chrome
First Bike was a TS250 and had a few spills, managed to borrow some money off the old man shortly after ( against his wishes) and ramp up to a second hand DT360A and working at a supermarket to help pay it off, big ask when I was still only 17 but, you couldn't beat the big power of a DT360 and, my mate's were always asking for a ride. 32 odd HP ? Not sure how I held on back in '75.
Wondering how many of you guys made a similar start :-)

Started on a Kawasaki GT4 (i think it was) farm bike high low ratio for farm and road then went to a Suzuki GT380 and never looked back.

First road registered bike was a IT250
currently a Triumph Tiger 800 fills the need :)

DT100 which I managed to break every tree in the neighborhood but not 1 bone on..
IT175 which I led a many police chase on hehehehe but back then as long as you didn;t really eff up you mainly ogt a boot up the arse for being cheeky

Honda xr75 not sure of year I was ten (I'm a 1973 model) it was my brothers
then suzuki rm80 bout 1980/82 model this was mine ( I had to stand on a 20lt oil drum to get on and start it) scared the shit out of me.

Probably missed a couple, but thats the guts of it. Never been without a motorcyle of some sort for the last 34+ years.

I remember the bikes I had a ride on but never owned, Kawasaki Bighorn 350 , TS400 Apache, XL350 Honda.
Had a plan to trade my DT360A in a new DT400B but, it was never going to happen due to lack of finance back then.
Nothings changed and time moves on, still I've a last model KX500 '04 and a CR500 '01 in my shed , doing my best :-)

Would love to still have that KX500, insanely fast & handled good enough to save my screw ups @ big speeds a few times. More arse than class on that bike...
Yep, rode a DT400, don't recall what model, Red with a twin plug head, used to be a big fast dirt bike in it' day too.

this was my first one, a dexon,
was a cool bike for a 10 yr old lol
around 13 picked up a dt1 175
til I got my licence then an xs250.

First trail was an old roady yam ys3 125.
In the 1970's.
XL175 our farm bike.
XT 500 farm bike.
New, cr 250
1980's.
YZ125.
CR480 awesome bike.
1990's
DR600 daily rider.
PE400 left with us for 14 months, family went overseas and didn't
want to sell.

First bike TS185ER, second bike DR200. Had a ride of someones XR600 and had to get one so that was my third bike.
