Phillip island today - captainrob - 10-10-2013

Sitting in the queue of cars and trailers waiting to get into Phillip island track day. Overcast and drizzle. All the preparations for motogp are done. Looks great! Very exciting, eh?

Have fun Captain Pi_thumbsup and do not worry about the weather. It changes 3 times a day there. I am booked for 20th of December (christmas gift from my wife that she does not know about yet Lol3)

Overcast and drizzle at Phillip Island is still better than sunshine and office blocks in Sydney!

Panabusa went great! Never missed a beat - awesome! But lots of tourists over for motogp having a go on the hire bikes. It was good fun working through them - makes it interesting! The best time I could log when I got the timer working was 2:12. What should a Busa do around Philip island? The light weights slice me up so easy, but on the straight it really lopes along. Heaps of people come and find me and say nice things - everyone loves to see the big bikes going hard. Great day then started to rain but I had to leave anyway. But back again for the next weekend. It was kinda cool riding around with all the motogp stuff on site. Hey, the machine gets thru petrol at twice the rate it seems to road Busa. Who cares tho!

It would be awesome to turn laps with all the GP stuff about. Did they any shots of you? On my 'busa with the phone app. lap timer, my old copper normally does around mid 1'50s, depending on traffic. but by now I can nearly run around the track blind folded. Wonder if the GP boys will get close to breaking 1'20 ???

Yeh, it does guzzle up fuel when you're at the track! Remember, the carbon/kevlar race tank only hold 9 litres
