Because of my line of work Ive been lucky to have ridden in lots of countries (I'm off to Vietnam this November for 2 weeks ride). Im always interested to see whats going on in other countries.
This is the latest list of requirements in European countries for British bike riders......
- GB sticker - no big deal (but I don't know where you'd put one on some sports bikes?)
- Headlight converter - no big deal, just a transparent film over the light to allow for Left hand drive traffic being dazzled.
- Warning Triangle - must be a pain in the arse.
- Hi Vis Jacket - no f*&^ing comment - 4 out of the 9 countries, now require it!
- First Aid kit - how big a kit, I wonder?
- Breathalyser - you must carry two of them - apparently more countries have this legislation coming in shortly for all bikes and cars ?
Dont know about front number plate requirements in European countries? (But latest figures show that 60% of the states in USA now require front number plates?!)

It's a clear stick on you put on the headlight that stops the light from dazzling on coming vehicles. Britain, like us, drives on the left side of the road and our low beams throw to the left. When you take your bike to Europe (very easy to do now, and very popular) and drive on the right hand side of the road, the low beam is pointing the 'wrong way'. The plastic stick on diffuses the light and makes it less bright. It doesn't correct it, but makes it less bright. Cars have to stick them on too.
The GB sticker is to warn Europeans that you're a dickhead and likely to f*** it up when you go round a roundabout!

I can understand why you'd need to carry a breathalyser in France. I'm surprised they don't make you leave your balls at home too.

I'm confused.....do I carry the on the spot fines to hand out? the pamphlet says yes. I'm guessing I fine the local law for mistaking my identity and pulling me over for no reason.

haha, guilty of that. roundabouts and carparks whilst driving in the USA.
could have been scary if I wasn't laughing so hard and driving a f@#k'n huge tank. Also hired a mustang convertible to do the Florida keys, that was fun.
