Have you removed the OEM bar ends? no m8 absolutely bog stock and only just over 5400 ks,thinking maybe loose engine mounts, disappears when I pull the clutch in,so def engine, possibly clutch basket don't know just throwing shit out there RE: i have a vibe/buzz from 2500-3500 revs - BikerBoy - 21-08-2013 could be anything....and I mean anything. Vibrations can travel through parts like electricity through a wire and amplify at the most exposed point. But there's many a million bikes all with a vibration at some point in the rpm's where just the right frequency makes something not directly attached buzz like crazy. Way too hard to figure a cause without being on and off the bike countless times personally. RE: i have a vibe/buzz from 2500-3500 revs - Shifu - 21-08-2013 Can not remember which model was affected but recall something about clutch bolts getting loose problem few years ago. If the vibration/nose disapears when yo upull the clutch in it would be worth checking. Other than that it could be anything. Barring there is no internal engine problem like the balancer and cam-chain tensioner, check all the bolts and nuts untill yo ufind something loose RE: i have a vibe/buzz from 2500-3500 revs - BikerBoy - 21-08-2013 (21-08-2013, 07:59pm)Shifu Wrote: Can not remember which model was affected but recall something about clutch bolts getting loose problem few years ago. you will notice that at idle just after start-up. Obvious rattle coming from the clutch, and like Jake once described.... it'll sound like the wheel of fortune wheel. The '08's were affected, mines a '10 and still had the same problem......but mine only started at about 50,000k's......almost 15,000k's more and it's slowly starting to make noise again. RE: i have a vibe/buzz from 2500-3500 revs - grumpy - 22-08-2013 Is this buzz while the bike is sitting or moving as the Gen11 does have a buzz at around the 3-3500rpm when moving and you notice it more because it's at about 100kph in top gear or most gears at that rev range.
