TechSpec gripster tank pads - Kendo - 10-08-2013

After finding the 'Busa tank shape a little on the slippery side and reading a few threads here I purchased some TechSpec gripster tank pads.
Of the 3 compounds I chose the Snakeskin.
I have been using them for 3 months now so thought I would give some feedback.
I have found them to work as claimed:

More grip on the tank.
Less weight on hands and wrists.
Better control when riding or braking more aggressively.

They have not chewed up my leathers like the Stompgrip on one of my other bikes.
(Stompgrip is great but it does seem to wear my leathers)

I ride nearly everyday, rain, hail or shine and have had zero problems with the adhesive or the edges lifting despite being a thickish pad.

All in allPi_thumbsupPi_thumbsupPi_thumbsup

Price is right but postage f*****cks it. How many sets do we buy to make the postage work best?

Rob, I bought 2 packs of the TechSpec opened 1 and used 0. They've been sitting in a box doing nothing for 2 years now.
So one pack's got your name written all over it (the pack is 2x blank sheets of snakeskin type, measure and cut your own template)
pm your addy and it's all yours.

I had to make a template and cut mine for my 1400 Rob. It's easy enough with good tin snips, then use a course file for the edges.

Fits in an envelope, so anything under 4 lbs that'll fit is $25 in postage via flat rate.

I'm keen on a set if someone else wants to order also & split the postage cost.
