fillin' up the shed. - Ward P - 10-11-2012
finally got my 3 bikes together. that's 11 cylinders in all.
now I need a bigger shed.

Noice, bit surprised your copper still with oem cans, try to find a pair like my short round Remus, they really do the bike justice.

Do you find yourself manhandling the other two bikes more aggressively to match the rush of the busa?, or do you find that you instinctively just ride differently when on them? I've always toyed with the idea of another bike, but always a bit concerned that I'll come unstuck wringing their neck to match the rush of the busa.

like to keep it totally original, tail not shortened, standard brake lines and cans. The bike even still has all the original stickers on the dash panels. Changing the cans would change the original look of the bike.
(must admit I couldn't live with the standard screen, so changed to an aftermarket screen, but have the original carefully packed away)

The little single is soo light and the CBX is just sooooo heavy.
Funny though, that pushing hard into the same corner feels like a similar speed on each bike. But looking at the speedo shows the difference. An average signed "45kmh bend" on the big wallowy CBX has it scrapeing all the way around at about 70kmh, the GB about the same speed but heaps of ground clearance and much less lean angle. The 'busa rolls around effortlessly on rails at around 100kmh for the same feeling. They all put a huge smile on my face when I ride them, the most dangerous part of swapping rides is not cracking the 'busa too hard out of the corners after riding the others. It's also just so effortless to ride the 'busa fast, so the others are great to have real thrash and not be in licence losing/lock you up territory.

Im running 5 bikes at the momment.
You dont get out of your depth trying to match Busa performance.
Skinny forks, flexy frames and swingarms, pogo stick shocks,
single piston brakes. You get a HUGE amount of feed back and
life gets REAL exciting at a lot less than Busa speeds.
I can come home with a mad grin on my face and heart pounding
after pushing an old bike hard through the twistys at speeds that
wouldnt have been very interesting on a Busa.

This was the other day with a couple of the 'busa boys
Gave the old CBX1000B a punt up Granya Gap.
Franko kindly filmed it for me - bugger wouldn't slow down though, I was really ringing the old girls neck. I was in jeans and runners and not really expecting such a "spirited" run. But with 100hp, 350kg, skinny tires and a long flexible frame . . . I had a ball chasing him!
