RE: Officially Old - Ward P - 09-08-2012

definitely a photo op Les! top shot!

mine's only done 81,000 according to the odometer Confused

. . . as long as you don't count the 4 years of 200km each day to and from work with the speedo disconnected. Coolsmiley 97km to work - 97 back home - as long as you don't count the old pacific highway every other day. (Wattanobbi to Nth Sydney)

I originally got the bike as a freeway commuter, was planning on racking up 50,000 odd km on it, and then trading with odometer reading low numbers. Next thing I knew 4 years had passed, I realised it would be getting close to the 180,000 mark, and it would be like selling a member of the family. So reconnected the speedo. Stuck another 50,000 on it the next year and then we moved. It's taken 7 years to clock up another 20,000km - so it don't get ridden much these days. But must be around the 260,000km mark. Apart from services the motor has never been touched. Still gets absolutely caned, doesn't blow smoke / doesn't use oil / still hammers / still feels tight / never misses a beat.

Smitten what more can you say about a 'busa motor.
