G'Day - piccolo - 24-06-2012 G'day all I just thought id get up the courage to say hello, ive been checking throu all the info and riding tips and i must say its been a great help. im currently only riding a dr650 (its still a suzuki lol) but after tax time im looking to get a gen 1 busa and i cant wait! My wife rides as well but to her dismay she is to verticaly challanged to ride a busa so she'll stick to her cough harley cough lol any tips anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated umm about the busa lol piccolo RE: G'Day - Dale - 24-06-2012 aboard piccolo, Enjoy your busa when you get it .. Cheers .. Dale RE: G'Day - bazman - 24-06-2012 G'day piccolo, to the AHC mate!! Nothing wrong with DR650's, dude....they're an awesome machine for bangin' hard thru the bush!! Don't forget to post some pics up when you get your new busa!! keep it fun, bazman RE: G'Day - Champs - 24-06-2012 Welcome Piccolo, remember that even the vertically challenged can still ride a busa with a lowered seat and maybe dropped suspension. Not that there is anything wrong with a Harley..... Nah - can't even type that without vomiting a little in my mouth. There is a lot wrong with the old tractors (in my humble unwanted opinion that is!). Enjoy yourself here and given that you are a QLDer, well done on winning the 7th straight origin series (in the bag) and we'll see you about the place. RE: G'Day - Ward P - 24-06-2012 to the club. only bit of advice to owning a busa, is keep one eye on the speedo and one on lookout for the boys in blue. It's speed is very deceptive, and it's very easy to get into loss of licence territory without realising. you'll love it. RE: G'Day - BEAU - 24-06-2012 Welcome to the club mate. Hope you get that Busa! RE: G'Day - pan - 25-06-2012 Hiya RE: G'Day - piccolo - 25-06-2012 thanks very much to all i cant wait to get my busa and i'll upload pics as soon as i do as to my wife lol we worked out she would need to take 2 inches out of the seat and drop the bike 4 inches and maybe let the tyres down lol GO QUEENSLAND RE: G'Day - Champs - 26-06-2012 That would certainly be a mean look for your wife Piccolo. From your description I guess she would have to limit her busa riding to the drag strip. Not a bad thing! |
