I only use the best mate. WICKED COLOURS from the states.
Water based, cured and totally finished with a heat gun, its then waterproof, weatherproof, flexible, i use the same paint on my workshirts and team shirts when racing. I have a Dickies workshirt with my logos and names etc on it, have had it for about 4 yrs now, worn it to death, goes through the wash all the time, No Problems. Little bit of fade now on the shirt with excessive wear of the garment.
I have also painted things on leather jackets etc (usually harley style stuff) and no probs there either.
Depending on how much "bum" time the seat gets and what the bum is wearing (leathers are smoother - Denim etc have rough edges, studs, pockets) , i would have to answer with this ... The life of the art would be linked to how much pillion time it had and whether or not it was consitantly hit with something abrasive.

Haha yeah sometimes i get carried away Beau, but i gain nothing by bullshitting you and telling you it'll last forever, my pillion seat doesn't get used so that'll last for good.
I will post another pic up shortly, perhaps a portrait piece that shows the quality of my work better than just funky graphics etc......
