seat options for touring - Taz - 28-05-2012 Until our 'busa arrives Saturday, the only riding Ive done on one is a few test rides plus a 45 minute blast through some twisties. Obviously we are getting a 'busa with long distance touring in mind and was wondering if the standard seating could be described as adequate ( given that Ive toured on our GSX-R1000) or should I be looking at options such as gel, air or sheep..... RE: seat options for touring - Shifu - 28-05-2012 I got Gixxer 1000 as well so can talk it from experience. Busa's standard seat after Gixxer will feel like a sofa after bar stool ![]() There is mine by my local guy. I just did Brisbane to Albury around 1,700 km in two days with a sheep skin on the standard seat. All went well. RE: seat options for touring - CeeJay07 - 29-05-2012 Airhawks work well for long distance (I find 'em a little unstable if you are playing in twisties).....but awesome comfort for mile-munching. |
