Glen Spinks on a white busa, NSW - Heidi1 - 19-05-2012

Is he one of ours? No details (and don't put them here if you have them), but he's had a bit of an off on the Old Road. First accounts are that he is ok, but if he is your mate, figured you'd want to know.

RE: Glen Spinks on a white busa, NSW - Katana2 - 19-05-2012

Just found out that a young (28-9) mate of mine was involved in a smash on the old road with a Busa. The bus was carrying a female passenger who was thrown but walked away. I think the bus rider was OK also but not sure. My young mate was on a red 675 and ran wide and bad happened. He's been in surgury in RNS since about 16:00 with a totalled left leg, knee and femur are dust. smashed left wrist couple of broken ribs and no bad internal injuries thankfully. I would have been on that ride except cant afford rego! Hope the bus rider is OK and the bike insured. Going to RNS tomorrow.

No, he's not one of us, Heidi......but he is a friend of mine on f/book.

He hangs out with the 'Sydney Riders' club, I think? [big] John is a riding buddy of his....so he might have some info soon, I'd assume....

Get better soon Glen and pillion....and a get well msg to Kat2's mate that was also involved in this incident as well!

Give him our best and wish him and his pillion a speedy recovery. I heard the pillion walked away, so that is always a good sign!

yeah I hope all recover, I was heading up that way yesterday when we meet the cops with the road closed. So we carried on and meet another mate further up who to us about it with not much detail? I heard about a busa and another bike but that was it. Again I hope all are going to recover in full.
Let me know what you hear Bazman, I am on Sydney Riders too and would like to send my condolences.
