bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - Skidmarx - 15-05-2012 hi guys and gals :)), recently acquired my boost by smith interface, and have been fiddling around, since finally getting it setup (nightmare in itself) iv managed to flash it with a very basic tune, now my FI light is on, i checked codes and its showing up with C44, now after having a look around, thats supposed to be a gen2 02 sensor code.............. anyone have any ideas on this? all help greatly appreciated :) cheers ash RE: bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - BikerBoy - 15-05-2012 Have you tried opening a new K2-K7-EU/AU base map and flashing it again? What map are you using for your basic tune? Also when you 'connect for engine data', there is an "oxy sensor active" button on the bottom left of that interface and a drop down menu with selectable features. I'm using GenII which is a little bit different, but maybe something there? RE: bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - Skidmarx - 15-05-2012 ya, that's the base map i was using, all iv done is removed limiters and set it so it doesn't retard timing, other than that its as per stock eu/au tune until i put it on the dyno in the next few days, i didn't even notice that 02 active button on that screen, thanks :) ill give that a shot tomorrow and see if that's all it is, i hope so !! cheers, ash RE: bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - BikerBoy - 15-05-2012 Not sure what that button actualy does (only had a quick look). On the GenII interface you can turn that sort of thing on and off so I figure it might be the same. I'm still learning all this myslef as well. If you really get stuck post a thread on http://ecuhacking.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=99460 RE: bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - Maj - 15-05-2012 You loaded a EU map, they had o2 sensors on the gen 1's try the US one, not sure why the AU is included with EU in the gen 1 now it belongs with the US or standalone AU , as the aussie maps are more similar to the EU maps due to our fuel similaritys RE: bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - Skidmarx - 16-05-2012 ohhhh right, should i be trying to set the fuel tables on the us map similer to the eu map? or will the us tables be fine until i get it on the dyno?? i had a look and it does look as though theres a fair bit of difference between the 2 cheers for the help guys :) RE: bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - Maj - 16-05-2012 If your bike is running well on the EU fuel tables and not with the US, you can cut and paste the tables from EU to US just save the result after each paste or you will loose it when closed to cut the next , lable it well and save it to a nominated area, i have a gen 1 busa editor folder in my docs . paste only needs a click in the top left cell RE: bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - Skidmarx - 17-05-2012 awesome, well iv flashed the bike as us and thats got rid of the fi light, havnt taken it for a ride yet but will later tonight and see how it goes, should be going on the dyno next week if i have time RE: bit of a queery on gen 1 codes - BikerBoy - 17-05-2012 Ash, take a look at the log box from http://www.woolichracing.com I got one a few weeks ago and they work F'kn sweet! |
