Hayabusa Swap Meet Sydney - Coolgardie - 12-05-2012

Hi Guys and Girls

Like a lot of you I have lots of busa stuff lying around that I would like to move.
I m thinking ....why dont we put on a swap meet ,where you could come along put down your ground sheet or table with your parts .
I was thinking of Endeavour High school , but they stopped there sunday sale. If somebody has a venue in mind or a space that members could utilise ....ie even a carpark in a factory complex that we could use.
Just an idea that would be easy to make happen and maybe even charge a nominal fee that could go to a charity.

Gregg

I'm all ears... I do okay at organising track days and coffee nights, but no idea about swap meets, so you lead, I'll follow...

Not sure how much Swap meet would be done with that kind of option, might turn into a RACE MEET Trophy Lol2
Love the idea of a busa swap though, nice Clap

How about a swap meet at a race meet. I know you used to see alot of people selling stuff at race meets now you only seem to get the hotdog people. You used to be able to buy leathers and badges etc at races. My thought for the day oh the headache.

CUTGRAFIX / ALCHEMY AUTOART
We make it to just about every big round at QR, some events in Eastern Creek and usually are at the Isalnd but can't bring the caravan there, its just too big and too heavy to skull drag that far..... We support most of the race teams and riders.
All OEM and Custom Graphics, race #'s, Screen names, Leather Patches, if you can think it we can make it (or already have)
Also send everthing out everyday all over.....

I'll be in, if its a race meet you will have to pay for entry
We need numbers to see if its worth while, may be someones place that's central to all, I have a bit of a collection by I had parting with junk Lol2
I'm at Windsor but most folks recon they need a passport to get here
my driveway is always open Pi_thumbsup

Whilst we possibly do not have anything to sell, our driveways are open for use too.

The front driveway can be for bike parking and the side driveway can be used as the 'stall' area...possibly with a sausage sizzle Drool

Hi Kathy

So generous of you to offer driveway and good to see some positive feedback from some of the other members.
Maybe Im being over cautious......but your security and privacy would concern me if having it at your residence or anyone elses private residence.
What i mean by my concern ..........is a lot of people are on this site , and also a lot of people see and read content on the site.
Meaning not all people that might attend a swap meet at someones residence will have honourable intentions......... if you know what I mean.
Im thinking of holding on Sunday July 1st ...just have to sure up a venue.
