anyone in the market for some cheap copper?? - Mr Sensible - 24-04-2012 The price seems too good to be true, as do the KMS....... http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Motorbikes-ATVs/AdNumber=D1281602046695 but if it's what you're after than here it is!!! RE: anyone in the market for some cheap copper?? - bazman - 24-04-2012 Nice find, Aaron.... It does look like it has had a respray, with the colour a bit lighter/darker in different spots, but if that's its' only blemish, at that price, it's not really much of an issue.....unless the new owner is looking for pure perfection!?! heya pete....this one might be worth a look?!? and if it buys you.....ya get a nice cruise back from QLD to get to consumate the relationship!! RE: anyone in the market for some cheap copper?? - crumpy - 25-04-2012 a friend ofmine in sydney got it delivered on monday it has a small problem with changing down through the gears but he said the clutch takes up as soon as you let it off the handlebars so maybe a worn clutch (hopeing) RE: anyone in the market for some cheap copper?? - Maj - 25-04-2012 or needs bleeding RE: anyone in the market for some cheap copper?? - crumpy - 25-04-2012 (25-04-2012, 07:06am)Maj Wrote: or needs bleedingpossibly but you would think a shop would have done it to sell it RE: anyone in the market for some cheap copper?? - pete - 25-04-2012 (24-04-2012, 10:23pm)bazman Wrote: Nice find, Aaron.... thanx for the thought, but still got no money atm to buy anything, i think id be struggling riding the bike back from qld its gonna take me a little while to get used to riding after coming from the old xs, id prefer to get a bike from nsw so im not having to worry about blue slips and stuff. RE: anyone in the market for some cheap copper?? - Driller - 25-04-2012 Or maybe the clutch pack is to big RE: anyone in the market for some cheap copper?? - Tony Nitrous - 25-04-2012 (25-04-2012, 11:21am)crumpy Wrote: possibly but you would think a shop would have done it to sell it Most of the shops around Brissy would have been to lazy, stupid or up them self's to have worked it out. Dumb arse's looked at my de-badged 02 Busa and asked me what year TL1000 it was, Did not know what a TRE was or did, Could NOT find out if an early Busa had an alloy or steel subframe, Could not understand that moto-X Renthal did not have enough "straight" to take grip, switch gear and mirror mounts even when explained to them! Didnt belive I couldnt put GSX1400 half moon master cylinder clamps on a Hayabusa to take traditional mirrors (they fit fine) Did not belive there were "early" small bore 1052 and big bore "later" 1127 GSXR1100's and told me they were 1100cc !
