Just read that Audi now officially own Ducati.

There seems to be a lot of bike and car companies gettin into bed with each other!

Maybe we will see some 5 cylinder Dukes gettin around in the future.

I'd say for quite a few and this definitely includes Ducati, it's a need for survival. Ducati were into debt that ran into the hundreds of millions.

Maybe Rossi has a chance now Lol2

I thought Ducati really turned their company around with their latest line up. 1098, 1198, 848, streetfighter - these are all great bikes. Surprised to hear they're still in such debt. Maybe still too pricey though - over fifty grand for an 1198r.

RE: Ducaudi - Buhjones - 20-04-2012

I had heard that ducati were thinking of getting into bed with harly davidson a while back.
Their new lineup (not a fan of the monster but it has been a big seller) is great but I think you're right about the price factor. At 50k + is the 1198r really 3 times better than a gixxer or twice as good as the beemer?
